torch安装

1. torch官网:

但是按照官方的操作, clone不下来, 因此写这篇博客

2. clone问题:

git clone https://github.com.cnpmjs.org/torch/distro.git ~/torch
cd ~/torch
sed -i "s/github.com/github.com.cnpmjs.org/g" .gitmodules
git submodule update --init --recursive

至此clone问题解决

3. 安装:

cd ~/torch; bash install-deps;
./install.sh

4. 更新环境变量:

# On Linux with bash
source ~/.bashrc
# On Linux with zsh
source ~/.zshrc
# On OSX or in Linux with none of the above.
source ~/.profile

5. 遇到的问题

主要问题可能时cuda版本太新, cmake编译相应target时失败, 首先要降低cuda版本.(似乎只支持cuda 7), 其次保证cmake版本3.14.2以上.

另一方面, 官方给了lua版本设置的方式

TORCH_LUA_VERSION=LUA52 ./install.sh

6. 其他操作

./clean.sh  # clean old torch installation

./update.sh
